Supply Chain Manager is required to coordinate purchasing, warehousing and logistics activities for an established, leading company supplying trucks, trailers, materials handling and earthmoving equipment and related service parts from South Africa and beyond to multiple outlets in Mozambique.
Located at the company’s head office in Nelspruit, and reporting directly to the company’s Operations Director based in Mozambique, the person appointed will lead a team of four and will liaise as necessary both with the company’s suppliers & users to ensure timely equipment and parts deliveries at optimum cost. Occasional travel will be required both in South Africa & in Mozambique.
Supply Chain experience for an original equipment manufacturer purchasing and supplying across international boundaries is essential as is the ability to work cross-functionally & deliver results in a multi-cultural environment. Candidates must be computer literate, must be graduates – preferably in Purchasing and Supply or a related discipline – and must have excellent communications skills.
